CBC’s College ministry is a great place to get connected with others and God. We meet most every Sunday night for Bible study in small groups and a time of worship through music. We try to create a relaxed atmosphere where anyone, wherever they’re at in life, can feel welcome and comfortable.
The main focus of our evening is on the Bible study, which is a good mix of looking at the Scriptures, but also seeing how those Scriptures relate to our every day lives. Whether we’re looking at a Psalm, one of Paul’s letters, a teaching of Jesus, or just someone’s story, we try to make the Bible relevant for our lives today. The questions always have a relevant focus that challenges us to think about how God’s word can mean something for us on Monday morning in class or at work.
We’re all trying to figure out what our lives are going to look like; we want to know what our story is and how we’re going to tell it. CBC’s College ministry is a great place to not only figure out how we can connect our lives and our stories to others, but also how God’s story can influence, guide, and bring deeper meaning to our own.
