A church can appear large and impersonal - but only if you let it!
At Community Baptist Church, there are a number of ways to get connected, grow spiritually, and meet new people. Community Cafe' and the following "CBC" classes are great places to start. Community Cafe' meets periodically throughout the year, and most of the classes are offered monthly and are designed to help you discover more about the Christian life, and the place we call CBC. Other classes will be posted as they become available.
Community Cafe'
If you're new to CBC or new to small groups, then Community Cafe' is designed with you in mind. You will meet new people as you experience the elements of a small group: connecting with others, Bible Study, discussion, and prayer.
You’ll also enjoy dinner with your table group. Childcare is available upon request.
The next Community Cafe will meet Sundays at 5:30pm, January 11-March 1, 2009. Contact Carolyn 909.945.5001 x277 for more information.

CBC 101
This one-hour orientation class will help you learn about CBC, allow you to meet some of the pastoral staff, and gain some handles on what’s next for you at Community Baptist Church. CBC 101 is held monthly (usually the first weekend), Fridays at 7:15pm, and Sundays at 9:30am. If you’d like to attend, you’re welcome to just show up, or sign-up online by contacting Liz 909.945.5001 x225.
CBC 201
This class is a four-part small group experience, learning about CBC’s Six Spiritual Habits. These habits describe the life of a growing Christian and what we envision happening in the life of each Christ follower. If you’d like information on upcoming 201 groups, contact Esther 909.945.5001 x223.
CBC 301
This two-part class instructs on the topic of Spiritual gifts. The goal of this class is to help people self discover their unique gifting and abilities which can lead to a powerful life focus of service. If you’d like more information, or to register for an upcoming 301 class, contact Esther 909.945.5001 x223.
Alpha
Discovery. Dialogue. Safety. Discussion. Food. These are some of the words that describe an Alpha course. It’s a ten-week course on the nature of Christianity. There is dinner each week, a short talk, and then a discussion time where you can bring questions and answers to the table. This course is designed for both a person who is seeking God as well as for younger Christians who need a spiritual foundation. Contact Esther 909.945.5001 x223 for more information.
